Ever since our foundation, dealing respectfully and responsibly with resources has been in our company’s DNA. Protection of our most important asset – the natural environment – is essential for our future, and also pays off economically. Our approach is to offer our customers contract production which is as sustainable as possible. This means our customers can use metal components from ERVO with a clean conscience. This resource-saving principle is integrated in the process chain at ERVO. Our customers benefit directly from increased efficiency, greater cost-effectiveness, and a smaller footprint per workpiece.
ERVO’s environmental management is certified with the ISO 14001 label. Our green approach is evident in many areas of our operations.
A valuable resource:
Whatever type of metal you hold in your hands, it usually has a long journey behind it. That makes every gram all the more valuable. Metalworking always generates chips, but at ERVO 100% of this material is fed back into the process. All offcuts, chips, and residual pieces from production are recycled to make new raw materials.
A considerable share of the energy we use at ERVO comes from our own generation. The photovoltaic system on the roof has been supplying electricity for our facility in Nüziders since 2021.
Water is a valuable resource we use in many processes: from production to cleaning to air conditioning. Most of the used water is fed back into our own systems where it is filtered, treated, and returned to our internal cycle.
A high-end product demands good packaging so that it arrives at its destination in perfect condition. We minimize the impact of our packaging by optimizing all its components, reducing waste, and designing packaging that can be recycled. We have also introduced our own returns system.
